Hello, my name is Qisheng Li. I’m currently a Quantitative UX Research at Google. Before that, I was a Research Scientist working on context-aware augmented reality at Meta Reality Labs Research (RL-R). I’m also a Research Fellow at AImpower.org.
Previously, I was an AI/ML resident in the Human-Centered Machine Intelligence team at Apple from 2022-2023. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Washington, advised by Katharina Reinecke. In my Ph.D. thesis, I employed mixed methods to demonstrate the feasibility of conducting large-scale online experiments with individuals with cognitive disabilities that are self-motivating, while maintaining rigorous experimental designs. During my PhD, I’ve interned at Adobe Research (x2), Microsoft Research, and Google Research.
